Matty Vandenbosch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Borys Buffon made a huge save. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Nederename's goalkeeper Bernardo Di Maio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, FC Borówiec's Hamza Erzan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Di Maio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Borówiec's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by André Mattsson in the 44th minute. Wannes van Elderen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Borys Buffon made a huge save. A collision led to KFC Nederename getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Matty Vandenbosch hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Wit Dombrowski put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardo Di Maio. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Philippe-Arnaud Reynders to strike the kick off in the second half. Philippe-Arnaud Reynders blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Borys Buffon having to make a save. 60 minutes into the match, KFC Nederename's goalkeeper Bernardo Di Maio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wit Dombrowski. Philippe-Arnaud Reynders might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Borys Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Philippe-Arnaud Reynders ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernardo Di Maio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Dombrowski in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Tobiasz Niemoj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Di Maio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KFC Nederename's Bernardo Di Maio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Dombrowski in the 66th minute of play. Borys Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janes De kaiser in the 71st minute of play. If Matty Vandenbosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Wannes van Elderen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Borys Buffon. FC Borówiec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wannes van Elderen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Anthony Oosters kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Borys Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wannes van Elderen, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 96 minutes KFC Nederename's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was André Mattsson who took care of the corner kick. KFC Nederename walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
