An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Fabrizi in the 7th minute of play forced KFC Nederename's goalkeeper Bernardo Di Maio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute f.c. sKRotone were awarded a corner. Ştefan Mârzac went to the cornerflag to take it. After 9 played minutes f.c. sKRotone got a freekick which was hit by Armando Vasco. Bernardo Di Maio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vennard Sundoro in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Philippe-Arnaud Reynders notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of f.c. sKRotone's Ciccio Tatangelo. Ciccio Tatangelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. KFC Nederename's Bernardo Di Maio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Fabrizi in the 22nd minute of play. Bernardo Di Maio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosimo Fabrizi's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Ciccio Tatangelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matty Vandenbosch, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Philippe-Arnaud Reynders ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciccio Tatangelo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosimo Fabrizi in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Di Maio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardo Di Maio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Fabrizi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led f.c. sKRotone's Ştefan Mârzac to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Di Maio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. f.c. sKRotone's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ştefan Mârzac in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Fabrizi in the 44th minute of play forced KFC Nederename's goalkeeper Bernardo Di Maio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Philippe-Arnaud Reynders made a kick off. In the 50th play minute Armando Vasco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bernardo Di Maio. 2-2. KFC Nederename's Bernardo Di Maio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save KFC Nederename from getting a goal against them. After 54 minutes KFC Nederename's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ştefan Mârzac who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matty Vandenbosch in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Werner Vrancken went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 69th minute of the match, Cosimo Fabrizi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bernardo Di Maio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vennard Sundoro in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernardo Di Maio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wannes van Elderen scored 4-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciccio Tatangelo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciccio Tatangelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matty Vandenbosch in the 74th minute of play. When Anthony Oosters fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Nederename's protests and gave Anthony Oosters a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Anthony Oosters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Di Maio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vennard Sundoro's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute Cosimo Fabrizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Di Maio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe-Arnaud Reynders in the 83rd minute of play forced f.c. sKRotone's goalkeeper Ciccio Tatangelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vennard Sundoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Bernardo Di Maio made a huge save. In the 86th minute Vennard Sundoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Di Maio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KFC Nederename fans cheered their team off the field, for while f.c. sKRotone had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
