Marc Ahlstedt started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Näshulta FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Almkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute Wlodzimierz Trzemzalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Spetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes, Johan Almkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Näshulta FK and the Juve Górnik Knurów players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Wlodzimierz Trzemzalski put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Erland Spetz. After a defensive mix-up in Näshulta FK's zone, Wlodzimierz Trzemzalski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erland Spetz came out of the goal and Wlodzimierz Trzemzalski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Juve Górnik Knurów getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jerzy Marchefka hit a great ball. Radoslaw Mierzwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Ahlstedt in the 41st minute of play. Erland Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Kissel, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wlodzimierz Trzemzalski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wlodzimierz Trzemzalskis short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Erland Spetz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Näshulta FK's Einar Olofsson got a free kick in the 57th minute. Kazimierz Kissel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erland Spetz having to interfere. Erland Spetz made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Wlodzimierz Trzemzalski sent off a good shot on target. Erland Spetz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wlodzimierz Trzemzalski in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Trzemzalski in the 74th minute of play forced Näshulta FK's goalkeeper Erland Spetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erland Spetz had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Wlodzimierz Trzemzalski from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 75 minutes into the match, Näshulta FK's goalkeeper Erland Spetz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wlodzimierz Trzemzalski. 77 minutes into the match, Juve Górnik Knurów's goal looked a bit too open when Xalbador Sparke came free, but Radoslaw Mierzwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wlodzimierz Trzemzalski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Erland Spetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Näshulta FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Juve Górnik Knurów's performance. The match ended with a win for Juve Górnik Knurów.
