In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goalkeeper Xie Bang Ang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robert Haegg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Vachon having to interfere. After 41 played minutes ARedonditos de Ricota CFK got a freekick which was hit by Toto Monti. 42 minutes into the match, Manfredi AFC's Uriel Cordarrel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xie Bang Ang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Cordarrel in the 44th minute of play forced ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goalkeeper Xie Bang Ang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Uriel Cordarrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the ARedonditos de Ricota CFK defense, Son Banana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xie Bang Ang. The ARedonditos de Ricota CFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xie Bang Ang should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Haegg made a kick off. Uriel Cordarrel might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xie Bang Ang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uriel Cordarrel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th minute Robert Haegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Vachon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Vachon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Polo in the 64th minute of play. Manfredi AFC's Roman Vachon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Gonzales in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Manfredi AFC defense, Florentino Berasko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Vachon. The Manfredi AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Vachon should have stopped the shot. Filomeno Remir might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xie Bang Ang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filomeno Remir ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute Filomeno Remir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Bang Ang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Emilio Gonzales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Vachon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Remir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xie Bang Ang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Roman Vachon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Berasko in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Hugo Chávez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Manfredi AFC's Kieran Listkowski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Filomeno Remir got in the 87th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Xie Bang Ang handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 89th minute Filomeno Remir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Bang Ang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Filomeno Remir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xie Bang Ang was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
