The audience was convinced that Emilio Gonzales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Porfiro was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Gabriel Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Berasko in the 20th minute of the match. Gabriel Porfiro came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Florentino Berasko. But to his dismay, Florentino Berasko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Luis Vázquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xie Bang Ang having to make a save. Xie Bang Ang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Vázquez's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Vázquez in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xie Bang Ang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Luganeros AFC's Eliseo Bittor to fire away a dangerous shot which Xie Bang Ang despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro got control of the ball when Emilio Polo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute Florentino Berasko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Luganeros AFC from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Berasko. Luis Vázquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th match minute, Luganeros AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Oinaz to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Yu Quan Di made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ARedonditos de Ricota CFK booed when Luganeros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Vázquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Michael Dalberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Porfiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 55th minute, Florentino Berasko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Berasko in the 58th minute of play forced Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Robert Haegg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Porfiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Luganeros AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benjy Muller took the corner. The corner led ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Guaberto Matro to fire away a dangerous shot which Gabriel Porfiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 68 minutes of play, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Guaberto Matro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Porfiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luganeros AFC's Rey Ronaldo was substituted for Luis Vázquez. 76 minutes into the match, Robert Haegg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Porfiro. Luganeros AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Haegg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yu Quan Di got free with Xie Bang Ang in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Matro in the 86th minute of play forced Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Guaberto Matro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xie Bang Ang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rey Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Luganeros AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
