Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Ove Eliasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Liden FF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Sven-Ove Eliasson in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sven-Ove Eliasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Vlas in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Vlas in the 23rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Marcu Vlas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liden FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcu Vlas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Liden FF getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Edvard Sundberg hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Liden FF defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Ove Eliasson. The Liden FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Ove Eliasson should have stopped the shot. Sven-Ove Eliasson was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-0. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Sven-Ove Eliasson made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Vlas in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Vennersten in the 56th minute of play. Sven-Ove Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of play forced Liden FF's goalkeeper Sven-Ove Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Liden FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. 68 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Ove Eliasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Liden FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Sven-Ove Eliasson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Felix Montenegro put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sven-Ove Eliasson. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Sven-Ove Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Ove Eliasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sven-Ove Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Ove Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Liden FF's Sven-Ove Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
