Efrain Aztore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Ignazio in the 24th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Maria in the 35th minute of play. After 42 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pavel Landau who took care of the corner kick. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Maria came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Senio during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alejandro Senio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nueva Bodega were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ambrosio Ignazio was the one to do the kick off. Guido Maria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, Nueva Bodega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yngve Andersson to maneuver through the defense. Nueva Bodega's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guido Maria went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd match minute, Nueva Bodega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yngve Andersson to maneuver through the defense. After 84 played minutes Nueva Bodega got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Andersson. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Guido Maria scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-4. Nueva Bodega's Cornelio Pueblo was substituted for Javier Orlin. Nueva Bodega's Patricio Vedillo was substituted for Guido Maria. Efrain Aztore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Nueva Bodega could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
