After having played for 66 minutes, Kauan Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventudes Libertárias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauan Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juventudes Libertárias's Mauro Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 68th minute of play. There was no doubt that Mexico were the better team. Mexico's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
