Caetano da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Elija came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chelsicha were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victor Velloso took the corner. Caetano da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 31st minute of the match. Chelsicha's Caetano da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Chelsicha's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Caetano da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Velloso in the 37th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The supporters of Chelsicha booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Paulo de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With his leg Caetano da Silveira managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Mexico's Facundo Cadaval fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Ciro Elija put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. After 76 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. In the 83rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vânderson Cafuringa kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to Chelsicha getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jeoffrey Airpoel hit a great ball. Ciro Elija's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Chelsicha's Caetano da Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsicha from getting a goal against them. The Chelsicha players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
