A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Cassius Byrne notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Internacional Pechofrío's Joonatan Schols. Joonatan Schols was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 18th minute of play forced Internacional Pechofrío's goalkeeper Joonatan Schols to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Internacional Pechofrío's Joonatan Schols proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Internacional Pechofrío from getting a goal against them. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Siggman in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Internacional Pechofrío's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Joonatan Schols reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Internacional Pechofrío's Joonatan Schols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Timmy Siggman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timmy Siggman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Internacional Pechofrío's Joonatan Schols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 33rd minute of play. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 34th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cassius Byrne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joonatan Schols quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 37th minute, Caio Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joonatan Schols saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match, Monty Rogers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joonatan Schols saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Internacional Pechofrío's Joonatan Schols got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timmy Siggman to make the kick off. Caio Paraense hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Internacional Pechofrío's Joonatan Schols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 57th minute of play. In the 65th minute Timmy Siggman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Diego Bradley. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Internacional Pechofrío made a substitution. Enzo Portochao replaced Nikolas Ferreira. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Diego Bradley hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Internacional Pechofrío's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Joonatan Schols reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match Monty Rogers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joonatan Schols skillfully saved the ball. Caio Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Joonatan Schols made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Baker in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sam Campbell in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joonatan Schols saved Internacional Pechofrío from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Loi Bultes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Internacional Pechofrío's Adolfo Etxahun managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Diego Bradley in the 94 minute of the game. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Su Qian Cheng in the 95th minute of play.
