Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Aaron Barrios was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. When Nelsinho Meira came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Pindorama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelsinho Meira couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Hortêncio Duarte. Pindorama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pindorama's Hortêncio Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Meira in the 17th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 played minutes Pindorama got a freekick which was hit by Davi Botelho. Tomas Berganza scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hortêncio Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hortêncio Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 25th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Duarte having to interfere. Nelsinho Meira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 32nd minute of play forced Pindorama's goalkeeper Hortêncio Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hortêncio Duarte having to make a save. Miguel Miralles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Hortêncio Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Raúl Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pindorama and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raúl Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Hortêncio Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 47th minute of play. After having played for 48 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Cambeiro during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hortêncio Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Genílson Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genílson Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Genílson Marques hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Duarte having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hortêncio Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hortêncio Duarte came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, Pindorama's Conrado Qwinton got a free kick in the 71st minute. With an all-out effort, Panama's Hortêncio Duarte threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 75 minutes, Alex Cambeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Cambeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Pindorama's Hortêncio Duarte got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Duarte having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Panama's Alex Cambeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 84th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Pindorama defense, Tomas Berganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hortêncio Duarte. The Pindorama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hortêncio Duarte should have stopped the shot. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Hortêncio Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. 94 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hortêncio Duarte, 0-8. The Pindorama fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
