Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cecilio Tristan started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Tristan got free with Thiago Pliego in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Cecilio Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Orlando Gatti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Orlando Gatti. Hugo Orlando Gatti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 32 minutes Abuba Akotonon FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Mariano Lacasa made a great header on Chile's corner, it was just that Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Guillermo Fontirroig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Orlando Gatti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 41st minute of play. After 42 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Lance Veloz. 44 minutes into the game, Jose Manzanedo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Abuba Akotonon FC's J.J Okocha quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 48thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's J.J Okocha got a free kick in the 51st minute. Mariano Lacasa scored 0-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gerardo Pozo hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Hugo Orlando Gatti made a huge save. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Tristan in the 74th minute of play. Emanuel Aurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. In the 77th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Abuba Akotonon FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Lance Veloz hit a great ball. Ernesto Oxarra kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Indiano to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chile had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
