Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes Diamante Negro DK - VV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Antonio Arias made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 8th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montenegro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Willian Félix came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willian Félix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 18th minute Vinícius Servaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Vinícius Servaes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the game, Vinícius Servaes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Vinícius Servaes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Willian Félix hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 40th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Zorita. In the 43rd match minute, Diamante Negro DK - VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinícius Servaes to make the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinícius Servaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogério Ceni made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 69 played minutes Diamante Negro DK - VV got a freekick which was hit by Christian Antonelli. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Diamante Negro DK - VV! Rogério Ceni had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Hugo Zonta was substituted for Willian Félix. In the 75th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Vinícius Servaes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 85th minute, Daniel Zorita fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 90th minute Vinícius Servaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 99 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Diamante Negro DK - VV were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
