After 7 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Bujor was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to D.P.Aarburg getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ilie Bucuță hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Bujor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentin Bujor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Bujor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cosme Fulanito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Valentin Bujor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Bujor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Bujor having to interfere. The D.P.Aarburg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Facundo Cadaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Cosme Fulanito fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored D.P.Aarburg's protests and gave Cosme Fulanito a yellow card for diving instead. Cosme Fulanito kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Valentin Bujor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Cosme Fulanito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The D.P.Aarburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. D.P.Aarburg's Valentin Bujor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 76th minute of play. Valentin Bujor made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, D.P.Aarburg's Raimundo Andrade got a free kick in the 79th minute. Valentin Bujor came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Bujor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 88th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valentin Bujor. That made the score 1-3 after 90 minutes of play. The D.P.Aarburg supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
