Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Edmundo Espiga made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 7th minute Gomosao F.C. were awarded a corner. Silvestre Ongile went to the cornerflag to take it. Radu Jder was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When Esteban Carvallo fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Esteban Carvallo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gomosao F.C. booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Jesus Baristo sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Moises Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petre Stolniceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Gomosao F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Petre Stolniceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Baristo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. After 31st play minutes Edmundo Espiga shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Petre Stolniceanu and just under the crossbar into goal. The Gomosao F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Honduras were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Jesus Baristo made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Gomosao F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Ongile to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Aquilino Nuxila took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga suffered a concussion in the 60th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Enzo Estebe kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Petre Stolniceanu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aquilino Nuxila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Gerardo Sancho made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. After 66 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Baristo in the 69th minute of the match. Radu Jder hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With his leg Petre Stolniceanu managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Honduras's Xavier Costa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Xavier Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petre Stolniceanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Gerardo Sancho made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aquilino Nuxila. 88 minutes into the match, Aquilino Nuxila notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Honduras players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
