Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jesus Baristo made the kick off which started today's match. Jesus Baristo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquilino Nuxila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Vicente Dalmai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enzo Estebe during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Gomosao F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Estebe to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petre Stolniceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Jesus Baristo made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Radu Jder's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radu Jder helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Gomosao F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Radu Jder. In the 35th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Jesus Baristo struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gomosao F.C.. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aquilino Nuxila showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 41 minute of play. When Aquilino Nuxila came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Gomosao F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Nuxila couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Baristo came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Fermin Bieito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vicente Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Jesus Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gomosao F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Baristo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Ongile in the 76th minute of play. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Baristo in the 80th minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Nuxila in the 84th minute of play. Jesus Baristo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Baristo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Baristo in the 93rd minute of play. Jesus Baristo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Gomosao F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
