Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Corinthians's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. A well-hit corner resulted in Iván Urtzi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Corinthians's Ignacy Kinic quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guillermo Mariano, made in the 15th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Messi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jaime Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Cristiano Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Cristiano Messi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corinthians fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Messi in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Corinthians's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Cristiano Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corinthians's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Messi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Messi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Venezuela's Jose Correa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jiang Yi Chong, made in the 60th minute of the game. Corinthians's Ignacy Kinic managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillermo Mariano in the 64 minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Cristiano Messi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-3. A hard shot 72 in the game by Cristiano Messi from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. 79 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jaime Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Cristiano Messi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Corinthians's José Vítor Ramos was substituted for Cristiano Messi. 86 minutes into the match, José Vítor Ramos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 0-4. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the game, José Vítor Ramos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. José Vítor Ramos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Corinthians's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
