With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Dursun Uslu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Stan in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victor Stan who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Victor Stan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Armağan Bekdemir tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Stan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Stan in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Matbaa Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Yaşar Demirkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Mustafa Yaşar Demirkan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matbaa Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Mustafa Yaşar Demirkan kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Yusuf Ziya İltan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Matbaa Spor's Victor Stan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Stan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Matbaa Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Stan to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Leocadio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Stan in the 61st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Stan struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matbaa Spor. Jonathan Venegas made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Patricio Costa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Leocadio saved Matbaa Spor from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Stan, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Victor Stan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Stan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Leocadio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Stan in the 82nd minute of play. Matbaa Spor's Mustafa Yaşar Demirkan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Salvador Gisbert in the 85 minute of the game. Victor Stan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Victor Stan sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
