Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arkadiusz Kochniarczyk went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Félix to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Brzostowiec's Arkadiusz Kochniarczyk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-4 after 54 minutes of play. 58 minutes into the match, Brzostowiec's Arkadiusz Kochniarczyk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute of the match, João Félix got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ricardo Zorita was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 93rd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. If Arkadiusz Kochniarczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Brzostowiec left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Salvador.
