Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiquito Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Silas Beavers getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ariel Silvanito hit a great ball. Bumin Sabuncu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Panama's Abraham Alguacil tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Tomas Berganza sped through Silas Beavers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chiquito Martinez. Chiquito Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. When Tomas Berganza fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Tomas Berganza a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Silas Beavers booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthew Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chiquito Martinez saved Silas Beavers from getting behind. Chiquito Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 67th minute of the match. Panama's Tomas Berganza got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Tomas Berganza off the ground. Tomas Berganza hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Silvanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, Silas Beavers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Silvanito to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Miguel Miralles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chiquito Martinez, 1-2. After 90 played minutes Silas Beavers got a freekick which was hit by Bumin Sabuncu. Panama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
