Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) El Salvador's Moises Fernandino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Matbaa Spor's Victor Stan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th minute of the match Victor Stan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Zorita showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Armağan Bekdemir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matbaa Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. In the 14th minute, Armağan Bekdemir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Stan took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Armağan Bekdemir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Fernandino during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Joshua Curbelo got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 45 minutes of play, Matbaa Spor's Dursun Uslu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

El Salvador's Joshua Curbelo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dursun Uslu, made in the 53rd minute of the game. Marco Tamayo charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Tamayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard and well directed shot from Victor Stan led 68 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-4. Matbaa Spor's Ismael Leocadio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Joshua Curbelo got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Mateo Leguizamo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Dursun Uslu's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dursun Uslu helped the player get up and apologised. El Salvador's Thiago Zorita was substituted for Mateo Leguizamo. In the 84th minute, Dursun Uslu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Abram Luque notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Matbaa Spor's Ismael Leocadio. Ismael Leocadio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ismael Leocadio came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Moises Fernandino. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Dursun Uslu struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matbaa Spor. In the 95th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Matbaa Spor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
