Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Remigio Orlondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Renaud Specht hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Minkovski came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Remigio Orlondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tibor Lázár, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 25 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dante Lacasa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 28 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Minkovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Lázár in the 36th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th match minute, FC BerserkerS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neycho Bidzhev to maneuver through the defense. Remigio Orlondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 40th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Remigio Orlondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 56th minute of play forced FC BerserkerS's goalkeeper Remigio Orlondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Tibor Lázár ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 61 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Renaud Specht came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Orlondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 64th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Lázár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute of the match FC BerserkerS got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marian Minkovski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marian Minkovski made a great header on FC BerserkerS's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mexico's goalie and right to Neycho Bidzhev. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mexico's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC BerserkerS. The FC BerserkerS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
