Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nichifor Codruț got the match started through his kick off. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a F.C.BARLAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 8th minute Valentin Verzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10th play minutes Nichifor Codruț shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Sandu Brădescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 3-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Nichifor Codruț elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Braulio Castel came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the F.C.BARLAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Castel couldn't finish the play. F.C.BARLAD's attentive Ernest Zburlea managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the game, F.C.BARLAD's Nichifor Codruț nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Efrain Moruga made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by F.C.BARLAD's Eric Pârlea. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Codruț, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Niculae Isvoreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nichifor Codruț in the 39th minute. Nichifor Codruț blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. In the 45th minute, Alan Moruga made a precise shot to the right of Niculae Isvoreanu. F.C.BARLAD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Nichifor Codruț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Castel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Efrain Moruga made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eliseo Noboa however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Codruț in the 67th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Codruț in the 70th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Codruț in the 71st minute of the match. Nichifor Codruț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Codruț in the 76th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Codruț in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Nichifor Codruț made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Dumitru Surdu didn't quite understand what happened when in the 84 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by F.C.BARLAD's Ernest Zburlea. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when F.C.BARLAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichifor Codruț didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niculae Isvoreanu made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. Nichifor Codruț scored 6-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. F.C.BARLAD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
