A nice corner shot did that Macos Graciani got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lorenz Ureta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenz Ureta having to make a save. Ajax Colombiano's Lorenz Ureta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 19th minute of play. Bitxintxo Lobado was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ajax Colombiano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Lorenz Ureta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Lorenz Ureta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baba Ba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ajax Colombiano's Baba Ba got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ivon Gasca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivon Gasca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to Ajax Colombiano getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Pudes Checa hit a great ball. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lorenz Ureta. Lorenz Ureta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After 81 minutes, Alberto Tafalla made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ajax Colombiano's Lorenz Ureta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 84th minute of play forced Ajax Colombiano's goalkeeper Lorenz Ureta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ajax Colombiano's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenz Ureta came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ajax Colombiano's Lorenz Ureta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
