Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Cayuso, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Kaapo Stein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Nutridal F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Radomil Marajda hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Hulk Hugan in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Kaapo Stein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hulk Hugan having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hulk Hugan saved Nutridal F.C. from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Tomas Illescas put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hulk Hugan. 40 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kaapo Stein came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Nutridal F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carnero Viergol to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dominguez Artaza kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Nutridal F.C.'s David Isla was substituted for Philibert Bouty. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaapo Stein to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Hulk Hugan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio Cayuso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Villahoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nutridal F.C. the free kick. After 70 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Kaapo Stein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Kaapo Stein tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radomil Marajda kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hulk Hugan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Villahoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hulk Hugan having to interfere. Nutridal F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
