Luis Andino scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Tohias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Tohias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Mateo Tohias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Mateo Tohias. 21 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Mateo Tohias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Dogo Argentino defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Tohias. The Dogo Argentino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Tohias should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mateo Tohias. That made the score 6-0 in the 27 minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Mateo Tohias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th match minute, Dogo Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Bemabe to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Tohias. Mateo Tohias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 41 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Dogo Argentino's Mateo Tohias. Mateo Tohias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Mateo Tohias in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Dogo Argentino's Mateo Tohias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 51st minute of play. Mateo Tohias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mateo Tohias. After 59 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Tohias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Tohias. Mateo Tohias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. In the 65th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Tohias. Dogo Argentino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. In the 68th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Tohias. Dogo Argentino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-0. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateo Tohias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Tohias. Dogo Argentino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 17-0. Ricardo Faron kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mateo Tohias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ecuador had played much better football throughout.
