Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 14 played minutes Nimród Vére got a freekick which was hit by Tivadar Sörös. After a rather tough play, Nimród Vére's Tamás Bencsik got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of Nimród Vére booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Nimród Vére's Krisztián Sydbøge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bendegúz Ördög's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Krisztián Sydbøge made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bendegúz Ördög in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Róbert Vadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Nimród Vére's Tivadar Sörös nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 45th minute, Tivadar Sörös got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bendegúz Ördög to make the kick off. Krisztián Sydbøge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Tivadar Sörös succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 53rd playminute. In the 59th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Tamás Bencsik kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Ede Edelényi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tivadar Sörös succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 80th playminute. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Tivadar Sörös kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Nimród Vére could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
