Justo Fonda made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Emiliano Oliviero immediately put the ball in play. Jeronimo Millan was a little too slow when Mariano Lacasa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. 26 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jeronimo Millan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36thth minute of the game Gervasio Chano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gervasio Chano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Gervasio Chano took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Sirius Dog's Matias Azibar was substituted for Emiliano Oliviero. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gervasio Chano was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sirius Dog's Justo Fonda got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Chano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Jeronimo Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Francisco Carballar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
