With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Åke Brummer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Åke Brummer was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. At last the ball reached Eliseo Mina at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Lanzenkirchen. 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Bejger came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Åke Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes, Octav Bocșan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lanzenkirchen and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Peru booed when Lanzenkirchen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Bocșan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Murillo scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Åke Brummer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 31 minutes, Roque Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanzenkirchen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Claus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Niclas Knebel, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Karl-Åke Brummer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Karl-Åke Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Peru were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucjan Bejger to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Karl-Åke Brummer in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Karl-Åke Brummer made a huge save. Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 70th minute of play. 0-3 became the score in the 73rd minute when Julian Murillo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lanzenkirchen's Roland Freytag was substituted for Lasse Tilemann. Roland Freytag lost his temper 81 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 85th minute, Peru got a penalty, and Eliseo Mina placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. 88 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Karl-Åke Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Åke Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lanzenkirchen.
