Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Fonseca having to interfere. Júlio Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 16th minute of play. When Facundo Cadaval came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Facundo Cadaval couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FALCÕES VERDES's Júlio Fonseca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 36th minute of play forced FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper Júlio Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 40th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FALCÕES VERDES's Júlio Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, FALCÕES VERDES's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Júlio Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Joel Gaona was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 59th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 62nd minute, Clóvis Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Fonseca was a little too slow when Joel Gaona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-10. Joel Gaona was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Mexico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Júlio Fonseca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Júlio Fonseca came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Luca Zorita. But to his dismay, Luca Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-15. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 91st minute of play forced FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper Júlio Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FALCÕES VERDES's Júlio Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save FALCÕES VERDES from getting a goal against them. 97 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júlio Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-17. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
