Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Fanuco in the 18th minute of play. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Szkarpiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jan Dixon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zhuo Xuan Yu was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Filip Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuo Xuan Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Canada manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Juliszew SSA to win.
