Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oscar Moreno got the match started through his kick off. LAS DELICIAS's Salvador Colaço played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedele Stefano in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Fedele Stefano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fedele Stefano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias got a free kick in the 36th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

LAS DELICIAS's Dalmacio Boniel was substituted for Ciro Asteri. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
