In the 13th minute Armindo Amado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piara Tittarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jaime Cazalla came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Cazalla couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Gayoso had great luck who in the 21stth minute grab hold of the ball when Armindo Amado from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Amado in the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, Reconquistense FC's Piara Tittarelli got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Jaime Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reconquistense FC made a substitution. Jan Ahlqvist replaced Armindo Amado. The Reconquistense FC fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Reconquistense FC's Jan Ahlqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 89th minute, Jan Ahlqvist made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Ahlqvist in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Reconquistense FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
