Damazy Kochanowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. Zbigniew Lepucki kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Antoszewski in the 34th minute of the match. Troy Kennedy kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Tytus Sakowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanley Wallace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbigniew Antoszewski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Barrett came out and tried to block the shot, but Zbigniew Antoszewski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 40th minute. With an all-out effort, Minkowskie's Bruno Barrett threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Michal Niedbalski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half Curacao were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Davies stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Kochanowski in the 63rd minute of play. Curacao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minkowskie the free kick. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Lochlan Newman got a free kick in the 94th minute.
