Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reconquistense FC the free kick. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armindo Amado's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armindo Amado got free with Benito Sanz in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the game, one of Costa Rica:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Costa Rica:s Benito Sanz showed great skill when he stopped Armindo Amado:s penalty. In the 19th minute, Armindo Amado made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Amado in the 22nd minute of play. Iulian Boc was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Reconquistense FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Reconquistense FC's Armindo Amado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 3-0 after 29 minutes of play. Iulian Boc who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armindo Amado in the 41st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Armindo Amado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 5-0. 45 minutes into the match, Lucas Seme dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseo Noboa was the one to do the kick off. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The Reconquistense FC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Reconquistense FC's Armindo Amado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iulian Boc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reconquistense FC's Arnulfo Gamus was substituted for Tomás Raphael. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Amado in the 60th minute of play. The Reconquistense FC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Reconquistense FC's Armindo Amado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 67 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Reconquistense FC made a substitution. Jan Ahlqvist replaced Armindo Amado. Reconquistense FC made a substitution. Gustavo Ferran replaced Augusto Alfonso. Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a Reconquistense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 71st minute. Zbyszko Dejo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Jan Ahlqvist notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Ahlqvist in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Jan Ahlqvist sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Lucas Seme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Ahlqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Jan Ahlqvist sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. After 94 minutes, Lucas Seme made it 12-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Reconquistense FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
