The supporters of 太原理工校队 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee showed 温荣瑜 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When 曲浩榕 fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 太原理工校队's protests and gave 曲浩榕 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Axel Tasis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 白挺夕 was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Eliseo Noboa might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 白挺夕. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Noboa ran back to his position shaking his head. 太原理工校队's attentive 曲浩榕 managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 白挺夕 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Costa Rica players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
