The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Stenqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Edmundo Espiga took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mats Bruse to make any attempt to save it. In the 23rd match minute, Ultra Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Ekeberg to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Honduras booed when Ultra Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Ekeberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mats Bruse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Tafalla in the 42nd minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Walmarsson in the 45th minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Milagros Cabal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Ultra Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Stenqvist in the 66th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åke Walmarsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ultra Boys's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bo-Erik Fagrell in the 96th minute. After taking down the ball on Ultra Boys's corner Bo-Erik Fagrell fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lautaro Navarro quite easily take care of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Honduras had played much better football throughout.
