If Nguyễn Viet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liễu Thi Ngoc to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Dinh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lê Thuyet's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When WeAllwaysLose FC's Liễu Thi Ngoc in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. WeAllwaysLose FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Viet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Honduras booed when WeAllwaysLose FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lê Thuyet didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Liễu Thi Ngoc notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Văn Hoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Phan Duy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Honduras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for WeAllwaysLose FC.
