Phan Thuyet might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Phan Thuyet ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Viet, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Dung threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Phan Thuyet made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Văn Hoa immediately put the ball in play. After 28 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Moises Fernandino. Nguyễn Dung hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liễu Thi Ngoc in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. Nguyễn Dinh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Văn Hoa in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Văn Hoa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-4 in the 55 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liễu Thi Ngoc in the 58th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liễu Thi Ngoc in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Phan Duy. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Viet went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Leguizamo during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mateo Leguizamo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Nguyễn Viet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Văn Hoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. WeAllwaysLose FC played a much better game than El Salvador and deserved their victory. The El Salvador players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
