After 12 played minutes Kavaklik got a freekick which was hit by Ant Karasu. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Tansu Vedat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tansu Vedat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tansu Vedat yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Sebastian Villa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Tansu Vedat made a huge save. Tansu Vedat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tansu Vedat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Honduras's Luca Espinar got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Kavaklik defense, Luca Espinar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tansu Vedat. The Kavaklik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tansu Vedat should have stopped the shot. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tansu Vedat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tansu Vedat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tansu Vedat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tansu Vedat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 69th minute of the match. Başaran Bilgetay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Honduras's Sebastian Villa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tansu Vedat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Kavaklik's Tansu Vedat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Espinar in the 79th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play Kavaklik's Ant Karasu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 80 played minutes Kavaklik got a freekick which was hit by Ant Karasu. Tansu Vedat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 83rd minute of play. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th match minute, Kavaklik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Türkeş Demircioğlu to maneuver through the defense.
