Eduardo Fontirroig ran back to his position shaking his head. When Mario Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Fernandino couldn't finish the play. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Gdowik in the 25th minute of play. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Matela, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Alfonso de la Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso de la Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Szczepan Polkoski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso de la Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kazimierz Gdowik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dawid Matela fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ostdorf's protests and gave Dawid Matela a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Ostdorf got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Matela. In the 66th minute, Alfonso de la Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Szczepan Polkoski. Ostdorf's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of Ostdorf booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Fontirroig didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ostdorf's Zbigniew Gonsiewski got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th match minute, Ostdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Awizo to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Mario Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Szczepan Polkoski. Ostdorf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Alfonso de la Cruz took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Szczepan Polkoski. Szczepan Polkoski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Borys Traczewski during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Ostdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borys Traczewski to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Matela, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Bolivia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
