In the 22nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Leoz to maneuver through the defense. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Bacardi Black Bats's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Artur Brudzisz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leonardo Leoz made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bacardi Black Bats's Marcelito Silva. In the 34th minute, Horaţiu Bacalbașa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bacardi Black Bats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 38th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Artur Brudzisz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Artur Brudzisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Bacardi Black Bats's Artur Brudzisz managed to reach the ball for a save. 43 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Wojciech Grunwalski came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelito Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelito Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Bacardi Black Bats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelito Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute Horaţiu Bacalbașa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by Bacardi Black Bats's Horaţiu Bacalbașa. But to his dismay, Horaţiu Bacalbașa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 64th minute of play forced Bacardi Black Bats's goalkeeper Artur Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes Bacardi Black Bats's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Artur Brudzisz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Bacardi Black Bats's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Artur Brudzisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Brudzisz. Bacardi Black Bats's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Bacardi Black Bats made a substitution. Alexandre Mourinho replaced Yao Liang Ming. Bacardi Black Bats's Alexandre Mafra was substituted for Quentin Platt. Bacardi Black Bats made a substitution. Leandro Calçada replaced Cristóvão França. Macos Graciani kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Horaţiu Bacalbașa got in the 79th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Dante Lacasa handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After some careless play in the Bacardi Black Bats defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Brudzisz. The Bacardi Black Bats fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Brudzisz should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Artur Brudzisz. Bacardi Black Bats's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 90th minute, Horaţiu Bacalbașa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bacardi Black Bats's Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rdth minute of the game Horaţiu Bacalbașa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Wojciech Grunwalski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bacardi Black Bats's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After 96 played minutes Bacardi Black Bats got a freekick which was hit by Wojciech Grunwalski. The supporters of Mexico booed when Bacardi Black Bats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wojciech Grunwalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mexico fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bacardi Black Bats had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
