Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Capasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Fonseca in the 7th minute of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Florian Capasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Capasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Marcinho Sabóia came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of USA booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. USA's Cassius Byrne couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Merusca F&P - CIMZ. Marcinho Sabóia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Hélder Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute of the match, Monty Rogers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcinho Sabóia might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcinho Sabóia ran back to his position shaking his head. Monty Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Mauro-Facundo Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 51st minute of play. After 55 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro-Facundo Buffon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Florian Capasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Capasso in the 69th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. With an all-out effort, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Marco Day threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcinho Sabóia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mauro-Facundo Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 76th minute of play. If Roberto Bolt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Sam Campbell took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro-Facundo Buffon. Mauro-Facundo Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Merusca F&P - CIMZ getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Florian Capasso hit a great ball. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Bolt in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Baker came free, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcinho Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. USA fully deserved thier win.
