In the 3rd minute of the game Iosif Tapalagă made a throw-in which Albert Şoimu played forward. 5 minutes into the game, Mugurel Diaconu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Noel Seide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Diaconu in the 9th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Seide came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Bogdan Predoiu. But to his dismay, Bogdan Predoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Victor Lăceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Pinner Cluj-Napoca from getting a goal against them. Noel Seide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mugurel Diaconu's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Bat Zub recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Pinner Cluj-Napoca booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernso Constant didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Mihnea Leluțiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Bogdan Predoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pinner Cluj-Napoca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 46th minute Mugurel Diaconu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Petre Bacalbașa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's supporters rose to their feet, but Petre Bacalbașa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Seide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mugurel Diaconu was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Alphonse hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Radu Balcan's late challenge caught a Haiti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radu Balcan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Haiti booed when Pinner Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radu Balcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Şoimu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Noel Seide came out and tried to block the shot, but Albert Şoimu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogdan Predoiu. When the final whistle sounded Pinner Cluj-Napoca left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Haiti.
