Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severino Benino started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maxi Rodríguez in the 2nd minute. The audience was convinced that Severino Benino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Damian Sylvester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play forced Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goalkeeper Abelardo Berenguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Atlético y Tiro Rqta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abelardo Berenguer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maxi Rodríguez. In the 22nd minute Atlético y Tiro Rqta were awarded a corner. Severino Benino went to the cornerflag to take it. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Severino Benino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Abelardo Berenguer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 30th minute Maxi Rodríguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Abelardo Berenguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. If Maxi Rodríguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Berenguer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Abelardo Berenguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Atlético y Tiro Rqta getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. In the 60th match minute, Atlético y Tiro Rqta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Suárez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 61st minute of play forced Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goalkeeper Abelardo Berenguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Benino came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Atlético y Tiro Rqta getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Hu Fei Hai hit a great ball. When Maxi Rodríguez came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Atlético y Tiro Rqta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxi Rodríguez couldn't finish the play. In the 71st match minute, Atlético y Tiro Rqta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Munio to maneuver through the defense. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Abelardo Berenguer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético y Tiro Rqta from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes Atlético y Tiro Rqta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abelardo Berenguer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juli Álvarez in the 83rd minute of play. Juli Álvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Atlético y Tiro Rqta were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
