Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Francisco Seco made the kick off which started today's match. Camilo Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Costică Nedelcu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Cristinel Negulescu in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo. After 6 minutes of play, English Fire's Sven-Edvin Ahlroth made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of English Fire booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to English Fire getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Costică Nedelcu hit a great ball. Dragoş Puric made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Sven-Edvin Ahlroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Ahlroth in the 16th minute of play. Dragoş Puric made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Edvin Ahlroth in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. In the 44th match minute, English Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Edvin Ahlroth to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Edvin Ahlroth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sven-Edvin Ahlroth let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 51st minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. Cristinel Negulescu made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nae Hăvârneanu. 60 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dragoş Puric was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dragoş Puric didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximiliano Escribano went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Edvin Ahlroth. 86 minutes into the game, English Fire's Cazimir Ciulei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cazimir Ciulei got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Ahlroth in the 90th minute of play. Dragoş Puric made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 94th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
