It was a well-played corner which Esteban Carvallo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of Batman booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ocampo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Batman defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tayfur Kiner. The Batman fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tayfur Kiner should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabri Ekabir in the 45th minute of play. Batman's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Berkan Şavat in the 47th minute. Batman's Berkan Şavat was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Görkem İlsev was the one to do the kick off. Tayfur Kiner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Emanuel Ocampo charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Ocampo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Batman's Sabri Ekabir got a free kick in the 66th minute. Batman's Tayfur Kiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Batman's Tayfur Kiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 80th minute of play. Tayfur Kiner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
