Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Görkem İlsev started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Batman got a freekick which was hit by Sabri Ekabir. Tayfur Kiner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 6th minute. A collision led to Batman getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Hıdır Sufi hit a great ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berkan Şavat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Görkem İlsev went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayfur Kiner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berkan Şavat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Tayfur Kiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Bahadır Memduh came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Batman's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayfur Kiner came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkan Şavat in the 41st minute of play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Görkem İlsev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. Batman's Tayfur Kiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Aaron Alcocer notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Batman's Tayfur Kiner. Tayfur Kiner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Batman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hıdır Sufi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Noboa might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tayfur Kiner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Noboa ran back to his position shaking his head. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Berkan Şavat scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 1-3. After having played for 66 minutes, Berkan Şavat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berkan Şavat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabri Ekabir got free with Benito Sanz in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Görkem İlsev in the 69th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Batman's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Tayfur Kiner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes Batman's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Tasis who took care of the corner kick. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Berkan Şavat got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 77 minutes into the match, Binali Kutbay notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Sabri Ekabir took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayfur Kiner having to interfere. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
