Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Pedro Lucas sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Peep Pronk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. The corner ended in Karl-Axel Kielstedt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. In the 14th minute, Axel Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Peep Pronk came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes AC LeX Luthor got a freekick which was hit by Matias Porfiro. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peep Pronk in the 32nd minute of play. AC LeX Luthor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karl-Axel Kielstedt in the 33rd minute. The corner ended in Karl-Axel Kielstedt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. In the 36th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 37th minute of play. Fulgencio Eyague stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santino Seco's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After 39 minutes, Santino Seco made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC LeX Luthor's Silvestre Semeno quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antonio Indiano, made in the 45th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peep Pronk made a kick off. Best Ibland was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of AC LeX Luthor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colombia:s goal. The goalkeeper, Fulgencio Eyague, was totally fooled by Colombia's Axel Montenegro, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 62 minutes into the game, Peep Pronk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AC LeX Luthor's Isidro Oliviero was substituted for Peep Pronk. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Isidro Oliviero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Isidro Oliviero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Isidro Oliviero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Fulgencio Eyague threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kevin Mastache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 81st minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Antonio Indiano hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Isidro Oliviero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Ignacio Mastache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Fulgencio Eyague was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Secada came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Many of Colombia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Colombia may have spent more time on the ball, but AC LeX Luthor were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
