Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Olov Johnsson made the kick off and thus started the match. VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the game Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in which Luis Andino played forward. 13 minutes into the match, VBL Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Carl-Chester Vallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Johnsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Olov Johnsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, VBL Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Carl-Chester Vallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Agustín Saelices who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Olov Johnsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera stood somewhat misplaced when Olov Johnsson came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 37 minute. Olov Johnsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Carl-Chester Vallgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 played minutes VBL Stockholm got a freekick which was hit by Eerik Lilleorg. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, VBL Stockholm's goalkeeper Carl-Chester Vallgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. The audience was convinced that Felix Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carl-Chester Vallgren was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 60th minute VBL Stockholm were awarded a corner. Torbjörn Grönlund went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes, VBL Stockholm's Torbjörn Grönlund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VBL Stockholm reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Johnsson in the 63rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olov Johnsson's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. VBL Stockholm's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Torbjörn Grönlund in the 68th minute. The corner ended in Eerik Lilleorg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. With a little luck, VBL Stockholm's Carl-Chester Vallgren got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eerik Lilleorg was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Olov Johnsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, VBL Stockholm's Olov Johnsson made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Johnsson in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniel Zorita fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Daniel Zorita a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. VBL Stockholm were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
